Ramadan of 2009 is few days away Asslam alikum brothers and sister we are now almost 17 days away from the blessed month of Holy Ramadan. Ramadan is the most important month of Islamic year. In the month of Ramadan muslims fasts from sunrise to sun set. During this time nothing is eaten or drink. And in the sunset when the fast is opened it is called Aftar. Special dishes are made in Aftar. As I from Pakistan my mother makes Rice, Samosas, Pakoray, fruit chat and many other things. In Ramadan the Ajar of virtues increases 70 times. The Blessings of Allah comes. The people in masjids increases for salaah. Allah Says in the Quran the Fast is for me and I will give its Ajar. Salaah of Taraveeh is also offered in Ramadan after isha Salaah. People try to avoid sins and do good deeds in month. At the end of Ramadan the month of Shawal comes and on 1st Shawal muslims celebrates the Ei ul Fitr. Indeed Ramadan is a beautiful and blessed month for all the muslims. By Ahsan raza |
